As of today, all Brooks facilities remain operational as we are deemed an "Essential Business" by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to support the life science and semiconductor manufacturing industries. As we expect all of our businesses have experienced minor disruptions due to re-alignment of our workforce around stay-at-home orders and social distancing practices but Brooks remains operational and confident in continuing to provide the highest level of quality in our products and services to ensure your success through this crisis. All Brooks locations have implemented technology and bandwidth enhancements to enable virtual meetings to maintain seamless communications with customers and partners. All locations remain operational, with much of our employee base operating from their homes. The majority of Brooks employees in North America and Europe are working remotely as they continue to execute their daily responsibilities. In Asia, our China based employees are mostly able to work from their respective facilities while Korea, Singapore, and Japan based employees are utilizing "work-from-home", where feasible. In each of our locations, we have employees working on-site due to the nature of their work. We are pleased to report that where roles are necessarily required to be present on-site, the large majority of our colleagues are able to do so and are following guidelines and extensive measures to minimize potential exposures to the virus. Specifically, with respect to our Life Sciences - Products and Services businesses, all locations including laboratories are operational and we are working closely with our suppliers and carriers to ensure continuity of service. GENEWIZ is taking orders for all service lines and is fast-tracking all orders that are in support of research and development around the COVID-19 virus. We understand the value of your research and we are confident that we have the resources in place to ensure the integrity of your samples stored in our facilities.
